P3 & M3
A) generation of appropriate ideas
- Idea one have have the sound effect of a bottle spray and the squeaky sound of glass being cleaned this then leads to saying how your glass or windows can sound as clean as this and then lead to explaining the product and what it does
- Idea two start by talking to the listener asking how dirty is the windshield of the car they are driving right now or how dirty their windows are as they will most likely be listening while driving then go on to say the could be really clean and go on to talk bout the product and what it can do to clean glass.
- Idea three go straight into what the product is and what it does and then have some sound effects at the end of the narration
B) Competent pre-production materials
Script 1
Script 2
Possible sound effects
The first sound effect a sparkle could be used within my advert to show how clean my product will make glass surfaces. The second sound effect is a spray bottle I could use it within my advert to show when my product is being used as there will not be any visual cues for listeners to go off the spray bottle will work as a good audio cue to show my product being used. The last sound effect is the sound of a glass surface being cleaned and I could use it in the same context as the spray bottle as an audio cue to show my product being used.
Possible background music
The first song seems more upbeat and it seems as if it should be background music for an advert which is what I want for my advert. The song also loops very well which is useful for my advert. The second song sounds more professional and has a more strong beat. Both of these songs could be used its down to my preference on whether I want my advert to seem more household like the first song or more professional like the second song.
Voice over choice
The first choice for my voice over the voice sounds more high pitched, confident and homely. The voice is also clear. The second voice is more deeper but it makes the product sound more professional the voice is also easy to hear and understand what is said.
The campaign message within the scripts will be changed to ''for a glass cleaner that smashes through grime and dirt use Hammer glass cleaner''

Budget
Radio advertising is charged at a rate of approximately £2 per thousand listeners at one time. If a show has 100,000 listeners at 10am, then buying a 30-second spot at that time will cost you £200. Generally, expect for a slot of 30 seconds to cost around £250 - £1000 per week, depending on how often your ad is broadcast and amount of listeners.

With these rates and times I know that as my advert will be played around peak times of listening and that the advert will be played a few times a day the cost of a week should be £500 and I will be playing the advert for 2 weeks so the total cost should be £1000.
